InScribe

InScribe is a Standalone Burning Media publishing service for DICOM images that connects to any 3rd party DICOM source or PACS archive. InScribe allows the production of encrypted media (CD or DVD) via a media robot (such as those offered by Rimage) or via a client workstation with a CD/DVD Burner installed. The encrypted media contains both viewing software and a PACS upload utility for the direct import into a DICOM destination (PACS archive for example). Using either the Rimage 5400N or 3400N robot the final product is a professional looking disk that can be customised with the Institution Logo and a variety of textual detail (Pt Number and Intended recipient for example).

The InScribe Administration web pages allow for the configuration of many aspects of the system:

• User Accounts – Add, delete, age expire accounts, manage passwords
• DICOM images – Auto purge (used and un-used images) after a pre-defined retention period has passed
• Recipients – Add, delete and manage passwords. A unique password for each Recipient can be created or the system Default can be used
• Ability to search the database to reveal the creator, content and password for all crated media. Useful if a recipient requires the password.
