Richard Dormer, Managing Director

Sales & Customer Training
Shaun’s role involves co-ordinating tender responses and partaking in various pre and post sales presentations to current and potential customers.
Richard began his career as a Diagnostic Radiographer, moving into a role as Radiology IT Lead before joining Insignia in 2016.
Andrew joined Insignia in February 2017, from his background as an Advanced Practice Radiographer / Manager within a busy NHS Imaging Department.
Sam is responsible for the sales activities at Insignia and manages the training programmes for our clients.
Development & Testing
Arron manages the development team and feels very fortunate to work with some of the brightest minds. He finds seeing the software we work hard to create being used to help people very rewarding.
Stephen has been involved in Medical Imaging since graduating from Cambridge in 1998. He has particular interest in the IHE, DICOM & XDS framework and standards, interoperability and data migrations.
Jon has over 20 years’ experience in medical software, including a PhD in Medical Signal processing. A co-founder of Insignia, Jon is responsible for database design, with a particular interest in data workflow and integration.
Working in the PACS industry since 1996 Ian is one of the founding members of Insignia. His role involves overseeing all things imaging related within the InSight product.
Having worked in PACS for over 15 years, Henry works on the system administration web pages and a lot of the "behind the scenes" server code.
After years of working in the games industry, Graham joined Insignia in 2013 and has loved working on products that are used for such amazing things.
Joining us in 2016, Brett works predominantly on front end development for InSight and enjoys working on products that provide a rich user experience.
His favourite pastime is snowboarding and he is currently saving up to go Heli Boarding.
Studying at Cambridge, and having worked in software engineering since 1999, Daniel joined the Insignia development team in early 2017. Outside the office Daniel has a passion for the great outdoors.
Mark joined Insignia in 2005 and is part of the QA team ensuring that the software is in great shape before release. Previously he worked within the NHS as a Computer Scientist in a Medical Physics Department.
Operations, Project Management & Support
Alan is accountable for all aspects of service and programme delivery and works closely with his teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects, and an ongoing support service that consistently exceeds its SLA’s and delights our customers.
Having responsibility for the delivery of Insignia’s products and services to our customers, Erik is grateful to be working with a great team of Support Engineers and Project Managers.
Working with us since 2013, Mike loves being able to deploy to new customers and working with existing customers to deliver real benefits and improvements to them.
Richard is a registered PRINCE2 trained. Prior to joining Insignia, he spent 8 years working in a NHS Acute Trust after over 20 years in IT in the commercial sector.
Jason joined the Insignia team in April 2017, having worked in the IT industry for over 19 years, with 13 years in Medical Imaging Systems. His role involves managing the contractual performance of services to customers and acting as a key point of contact developing ongoing relationships with customers.
Working with Insignia since 2012, Nic specialises in onsite support, utilising his 8 years’ experience in Medical Imaging. He enjoys working onsite with PACS teams and particularly likes new deployments.
Andrew assists the Support Team with any technical issues they are trying to resolve. He liaises with our customers and Project Management Team on issues that require greater focus to achieve the best solution.
Working as Senior Support Engineer with Insignia since April 2012, Chris’s primary tasks include handling the communication between ourselves and our customers, regarding any queries or issues they may have.
Working as part of the support team, it is Jack’s role to speak to our customers and resolve any issues raised. Starting in 2013 Jack is working towards his goal of buying a 1950's American Car.
Joining the Insignia team in 2016, Ross has almost two decades worth of experience in the tech support industry. His skills range from printer repair to network security, with a strong Windows and Linux system background. He also makes great flapjacks.
Having had an interest in IT from a young age, Aaron joined the Insignia team in 2016, helping to provide first line support to customers.
Prior to joining Insignia, Matt worked in IT support for the NHS for 3 years. Joining the team in early 2017 he is helping provide first line support to our customers.
Joining the team in October 2017, Mo helps provide technical support to our customers. Prior to joining Insignia, he worked at various NHS Trusts supporting IT and Radiology systems.
Brian has been with Insignia since 2002 and is responsible for managing our contractual and commercial agreements
Nicola joined Insignia in 2013 and manages all of the office administration and finances.
Clare joined the Insignia team in early 2015. Her role involves managing all areas of marketing including press opportunities, branding, social media and advertising.
